Vintage caravans

We say
There's something thrilling about the idea of caravanning but the reality can be a bit ... unsexy. If you want a chic and stylish version, you can rent one of these sleek vintage models, including iconic American airstreams. They are set in gorgeous remote locations, so perfect for social distancing.

There’s something very special about vintage caravans and we have tracked down a handful of exquisite examples – from the shiny metal of 1950s airstream classics to a 1940s retro wooden caravan.

  • Retro style
  • Remote locations
  • Luxury mod cons

With locations in Norfolk, Dartmoor and Powys, each caravan has been lovingly restored and is located in beautiful countryside.

Four of our airstreams, sleeping two or four people, are located in a small, well equipped campsite, set in seven acres of woodland. Expect a memory foam mattress, mini-kitchen, a welcome hamper and radiator. Outside, you have your own fire pit and deckchairs and shared facilities including a luxurious wet room, toilets, top notch kitchen, barbecues and outdoor games. Check out the cosy Airstream Bubble or the family Airstream Caravanner for example.

Wild Rose is our beautiful 1940s caravan, set in a beautiful farmland site in Powys. Sleeping just two, it’s packed with character with the most wonderful walks literally on the doorstep – the farm sits on the Glyndwrs Way trail.

On the edge of Dartmoor, Excella is a 1980s American Airstream which sleeps up to five. It’s been beautifully kitted out – even with air-conditioning – and its location on a remote camp site makes for a blissful getaway with endless walks.

We also offer ‘quirky breaks‘ with the chance to stay in a converted RAF helicopter, a double-decker bus or fire engine.

We can offer short breaks as well as longer holidays. Explore our vintage van and airstream trailer holidays.
