North Norfolk

We say
Everybody loves the north coast of Norfolk, whether you enjoy the gorgeous wide sandy beach at Holkham, crabbing off the harbour at Wells or exploring pretty market towns with their independent shops and glorious pubs. In the village of Burnham Market, we particularly love the 300-year-old Hoste Arms for its stylish rooms, superb food and convivial bar. It even has a cinema and a small museum to local hero Horatio Nelson.

Hoste Arms says

Welcome to the Hoste Arms, a pub, restaurant, hotel and spa all rolled into one friendly and historic gem in the heart of Burnham Market.

  • Lovely village
  • Historic inn
  • Superb food

Comprising the original inn, Vine House across the green, our Railway House and three cottages, we have 62 stylish rooms to choose from. All are packed with luxurious touches – one is a railway carriage converted into a unique bedroom.

Once frequented by Lord Nelson, our pub serves tasty bar snacks as well as local ales whilst the 17th-century wood-panelled restaurant, candlelit for dinner, serves delicious Norfolk produce. You can dine in our pretty walled garden too.

The Beauty Spa has a tempting menu of pampering treatments and is a lovely place to relax in after a day exploring our pretty village and the North Norfolk coast.

Burnham Market is renowned as Norfolk’s prettiest village and, whilst it’s a popular spot for visitors it has also retained its traditional character and atmosphere. The beaches and dunes of the coast are on the doorstep.
