Luxury Cotswolds

We say
Whatley Manor is a place in which to escape daily life in country house style. With traditional architecture and gorgeous gardens, with lots of secluded corners, you'll want to own it, not just stay in it. But if a short break is your only option, there are 23 rooms, a Michelin-starred restaurant, an amazing spa, a spread of lounges and even a cinema.

Recommended hotel: Whatley Manor

Whatley Manor says

Our luxuriously-restored private manor house hotel is located in the heart of the Cotswolds, just two hours’ drive from Central London.

  • Superb hotel
  • Gourmet dining
  • Spa for pampering

There are 23 individually-designed bedrooms including eight suites and, throughout the hotel, you’ll find stylish interiors oozing understated elegance and warmth. We even have our own private cinema.

Food at Whatley Manor bursts with flavour and originality. ‘The Dining Room’, where head chef Niall Keating has been awarded two Michelin stars for his cuisine, serves dinner Thursday to Sunday. Our Wine Flights dining experience is particularly recommended. Niall also oversees the informal Greys Brasserie, where a simpler menu is offered daily for lunch and dinner.  You may have seen Niall on the 2020 Great British Menu.

The hotel is set in 12 acres of beautiful English country gardens, divided into 26 distinct areas including a fragrant rose garden, an herbaceous garden and a kitchen garden where guests can dine during fine weather. The sheltered loggia garden also provides guests with a quiet area to take in the peaceful Wiltshire countryside.

Our award-winning spa, Aquarias, offers a tempting and luxurious selection of spa experiences including one of the largest hydrotherapy pools in the UK, as well as a series of thermal cabins and relaxation areas.

Whatley Manor is a member of Relais & Châteaux. We offer a range of enticing packages such as A Culinary Celebration and Cotswold Explorer Break. Check out our latest special offers.
