Ramblers Walking Holidays says
Our small group walking holidays are hugely popular amongst couples, groups of friends and solo travellers – all united in a passion for the great outdoors and good company. We have walking holidays to suit all levels of fitness in England, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland.
Each holiday is led by one of our friendly and experienced leaders, many of whom are past clients. All are graded according to the level of exertion and we arrange comfortable accommodation in welcoming hotels and guest houses, generally on a half board basis.
For a challenging week of hiking, our Great Lakeland Ridge is highly recommended. Slightly less strenuous but no less breathtaking is the Hadrian’s Wall National Trail with six days walking The Wall.
If time is short, take a look at our four-day Settle Carlisle Railway holiday – travel on this historic rail route through 14 tunnels and over 20 viaducts including the iconic arches of the Ribblehead Viaduct, with walks each day en route. The five night holiday walking the Jurassic Coast in Devon and Dorset is another shorter option.
Head to Northern Ireland to explore the Causeway Coast and Nine Glens on a spectacular week’s holiday.
A similarly short hop away are the Channel Islands where we offer some glorious options in both Jersey and Guernsey.
In the UK, we have negotiated no single supplements on a wide range of our holidays. These include St Ives and the Cornish Coast, Guernsey in the Channel Islands and Yorkshire’s North Coast for example.
We also offer walking holidays worldwide from the sunshine of the Med to the vast open spaces of North America and Asia’s unique cultures for example. Find out more about our walking holidays in the UK.
