The Lodge, Verbier

Mark and David's verdict
Verbier is one of Europe’s most glamorous ski resorts, and the place to stay is Sir Richard Branson’s Lodge - a stunning catered chalet with indoor pool, snooker room, gym, Jacuzzis and children’s bunk room. Rent it in winter with friends, or enjoy the beauty of the Alps in summer when you don't need to hire the whole property.

Recommended place to stay: The Lodge, Verbier

The Lodge says

Our stunning nine-bedroom chalet in Verbier, Switzerland, accommodates a total of 18 guests. One of the Alps’ most exclusive resorts, Verbier is not only the ideal choice for a luxury ski holiday – it is also the perfect alpine summer escape.

Back at base, after your exertions on the mountains, pull off those hiking boots or ski boots and relax – curl up on a comfy sofa, take a dip in the indoor heated pool, have a game of snooker or get toasty in the indoor or outdoor Jacuzzis.

  • Exciting resort
  • Gourmet dining
  • Superb accommodation

Later on, tuck in to some of the exquisite dishes from our kitchen – order what you want, or let us surprise you. You can even watch our chefs at work and pick up some tips while you enjoy a few glasses of red or white from our wine cellar.

In addition to the swimming pool, The Lodge also has a fully equipped gym, a steam room and a party area.

In winter, The Lodge is normally hired exclusively for 18 guests for seven nights with additional space for up to six children in a specially designed bunk room – and we lay on activities for children up to the age of 12 years.

In the summer season, individual rooms are available at The Lodge ‘hotel style’, and in both seasons there is a dedicated activities coordinator to help you make the most of your time on the mountain. Prices start from CHF910 per room per night including all meals and drinks (based on two adults sharing).
