Catered ski chalets

Mark and David's verdict
The ski chalet is a wonderful British invention. With breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea provided, you get to enjoy your day on the slopes - and pay a lot less than you would staying at a hotel and eating out. Making new friends and dining together is a key part of the chalet experience.

Ski Total says

Our years of experience and specialist knowledge, along with our attention to detail, make a Ski Total chalet holiday with friends or family both relaxing and stress free.

  • Choice of 18 resorts
  • Food and wine included
  • Pools and hot tubs

We offer a choice of chalets and chalet hotels in 16 carefully-selected resorts in Austria, France and Italy. Each online resort guide provides key information about the pistes, suitability for different levels of ability, snowboarders, children and non-skiers plus a piste map and snow report.

Our accommodation choices range from smaller six person chalets to larger chalet hotels that sleep from 25 up to 86 guests. You can join a chalet or chalet hotel as a single traveller, couple, family, party of friends or take over the whole place with your friends. Our chalet-finder page will help you find one to suit you.

Many of the chalet hotels feature their own swimming pool and/or hot tub and around half of them also offer skiing to the door.

We know that great food is a key part of any ski holiday. When it comes to cuisine, we set our standards very high and train our staff extensively before the season starts. A choice of five bottled wines is served each evening to accompany the three- or four-course dinner and there’s a full breakfast and generous afternoon tea too.

Chalet Hotel Le Savoie in Val d’Isere is one of our Platinum standard chalet hotels, combining five star accommodation and chalet hotel service. The flexible rooms and suites, which can be combined, suit couples, families and larger parties plus there’s a Penthouse suite for up to nine guests. The spa area has an indoor pool, whirlpools, saunas and steam room.
