Trekking in Morocco

Our verdict:

Away from Morocco’s fascinating cities, the country has stunning landscapes to discover. There's something really special about walking through the Atlas Mountains with a small, friendly group of solo travellers. There are golfing or beach options in Morocco too.

Solos Holidays says

As the name suggests, we specialise in holidays for solo travellers with a wide range of options from our ClubSolos house party holidays in the sun to more adventurous activities.

  • expert-guided groups
  • solos only
  • Atlas Mountains

Morocco is a popular destination for solo travellers who want the security and company of a group of like-minded people with an experienced host. With its unique blend of exotic cities, glittering coastline, striking mountains and vast desert, this intriguing country begs to be explored.

Our walking holiday is based in a four star hotel close to Marrakech and overlooking the spectacular Oukaimeden Mountain.

The holiday kicks off with a full day in Marrakech and then we have five days walking in the Atlas Mountains, each one completely different from the next. We set off with an expert guide to explore on foot – generally between 10 and 14 kms per day. We’ll take you to Imlil, Ouirgane, the Ourika Vallet, Ouzoud Waterfalls and the ancient town of Amizmiz.

The terrain can be uneven with some climbs so you need to reasonably fit.

On all our holidays, you will have your own twin or double hotel room for solo occupancy plus the services of our own experienced host. Many of our customers have become lifelong friends, bonding over incredible shared experiences amongst like-minded travellers.

We offer some other holidays in Morocco from the beaches of Agadir to golf in Marrakech. Find out more about our small group holidays in Morocco.
