Ski with your kids

Cathy's verdict
Many skiers want to introduce their children to the sport - whether they’re a single parent or have a reluctant spouse. This can be tricky but Esprit Ski has decades of family travel experience and provides a house party atmosphere plus excellent childcare.

Esprit Ski says

We have specialised in family ski holidays for more than 30 years. Whether you’re a single parent or your partner doesn’t want to join you on the slopes, our holidays provide the ideal combination of childcare, sociable chalets and free time to spend with your children. They work equally well for experienced skiers and complete beginners.

  • house party atmosphere
  • school holiday departures
  • wide choice of ski resorts

You’ll meet plenty of other families in our chalets and Chalet Hotels where our dedicated team of Esprit staff are on hand throughout your holiday. Most rooms are en suite and there’s a spacious lounge (and a bar in the Chalet Hotels), perfect for après-ski socialising. Delicious meals are served in a relaxed atmosphere -there’s high tea for younger children while older children have the option of joining the adults for dinner, where you can look forward to four or five courses, wine and coffee included.

Our exclusive ski classes accommodate children from three to 12 years of age and we offer ski guiding and all-day ski classes for older children, together with a pick-up and ‘take-to’ service. In all our resorts, we also offer a full range of Esprit Classic Child Care options and the biggest choice of childcare services in skiing.

Our prices are normally based on at least two full-paying adults per room but we are delighted to offer some rooms for one adult sharing with one child with no supplement and the full child discount. This offer applies in the school holidays (and some other dates) in selected chalets and Chalet Hotels in La Rosiere, Gressoney, Méribel, Alpe d’Huez and Val d’Isère.

For example, a week from 21 February for one adult sharing a room with a child aged 2-4 years in Chalet Hotel Ducs de Savoie in Val d’Isère costs from as little as £759 total for one adult and one child including flights, transfers and half-board accommodation.

A wide choice of regional flights and pre-bookable ski packs are also available – we aim to make your ski holiday hassle-free from the moment you book.
