Destination of the month – Kenya
If you’ve ever wanted to see the Great Migration, November is a great time to experience part of the long annual wildebeest journey. Having completed their trek from Tanzania’s Serengeti to the Masai Mara in Kenya, you can see herds stretching across the plains as well as the predators which have followed them, plus the start of their return.
Almost two-thirds of those travelling with Tucan Travel are on their own, with the Mara and Serengeti trip giving you a taste of both countries.
There’s good news for solo travellers who love cruising – Saga is launching a new ship in summer 2019 with over 20% of cabins for singles, all with private balcony. The boutique-style Spirit of Discovery also promises the company’s widest selection of restaurants. Exclusively for over-50s.
