50% off creativity break
I’ve negotiated a 50% discount exclusively for my subscribers off an Explore your Creativity holiday in Andalucia at Cortijo Romero, from 14 July. Now £365, down from £730 if you quote ‘101 Singles’, it features sessions on music, dance, writing, artwork and meditation among others. Includes twin share accommodation, vegetarian full board, plus optional daily yoga or tai chi, Spanish lessons and trips into the mountains. Excludes flights; single rooms available at a supplement.
Singles upgrade for Skyros
My subscribers can get a free upgrade worth £235 with Skyros if you book by 31 May – the upgrade to a single occupancy hut in Atitsa Bay is valid for the whole season from 30 June to 22 September. Singles subscriber discount
Travel One has £50 off seven of its June holidays for 101 Singles Holidays subscribers if you quote ‘101 Singles’, all with twin/double rooms for sole use and a Travel One table reserved for evening meals. The week-long breaks range from £649 all-inclusive in Tunisia, departing 12 or 13 June to £939 half-board in Lanzarote on 14 and 21 June.
Single parent all-inclusive
Single parents can save £100 per person on a half-term holiday break to Spain with Single With Kids. The seven-night all-inclusive break to Benalmadena departs from Gatwick on 26 May, and now costs £899 per adult, £799 for a first child and £499 for a second child, including events and get-togethers during the week.
Save £150 on ski
Book before 31 May, and Inghams has savings of up to £150 on selected Chalet Hotels and Xtra Chalets for winter 2018/19 as part of the Marvellous May Ski Sale, along with €50 of bar credit thrown in. A seven-night catered holiday in Cortina, Italy, now costs from £845 based on a room for single occupancy and flights departing on 26 January.
No supplement Caribbean
There’s no single supplement on a week at Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic departing 19 August. Priced £1,699 for sole occupancy, it includes flights and transfers, as well as all-inclusive accommodation at the five-star resort.
Norway cruise for £655
A six-night cruise of Norway’s Fjordland in summer next year is just £655 with iglucruise. The Cruise & Maritime break departs from London Tilbury on 22 July 2019 with five stops in Norway, including Bergen and Flam.
Singles specialist Solos Holidays has a new 17-night tour of Australia for 2019 – Absolute Australasia departs 1 February priced £7,389, including flights, breakfast, three dinners, one lunch and twin/double room for sole use. Visiting Perth, Alice Springs, Uluru, Cairns, the Great Barrier Reef, Sydney and Melbourne, it’s a perfect introduction to Down Under.
Destination of the month: Ionian islands
Singles specialist Friendship Travel is celebrating its 20th anniversary this summer with some new holidays exclusively for singles, including Ionian island-hopping cruises from £1,295. Departing from Zante, the gulet cruise visits Atokos, Lefkada, Ithaca and Kefalonia along with some tiny islands and secret bays, including flights from the UK and full board.
The company, which was founded in 1999 with a series of house-party style holidays in Turkey for those fed up of paying a supplement for the worst room, also has new week-long breaks in Olhao in Portugal from £1,135, as well as its friendly house parties at Oludeniz from £645.
Editor’s choice: No single supplement walking
Ramblers Walking Holidays is increasing its number of holidays without a supplement for solo travellers, including some of its most popular breaks this summer. You could walk Offa’s Dyke or discover Austria’s Tirolean mountains, explore the Lycian way in Turkey, as well as mindfulness in Mallorca and walking off the beaten track in the Cape Verde islands. Prices start from £195 for a two-night break in Devon.
