Solo walking in the UK

After months of being confined to home, activity holidays are high on the wishlist for a lot of solo travellers – and as Ramblers Holidays has walking breaks without a single supplement, they’re popular with those travelling alone. If you’re wondering whether a walking holiday is really for you, the company also has some great blogs before you book including holiday ideas for solo travellers as well as the most common concerns, such as whether you’re really fit enough to take it on.

Tempted? The company has published all its dates for 2021’s UK walking trips, if you’d prefer to stay close to home, with new options in the Lake District, such as an introduction to scrambling or a gentler walking and yoga break, plus a new walking holiday in Ireland to see Killarney and the Ring of Kerry.

But that doesn’t mean the end for spa breaks – The Healthy Holiday Company has some great insight into how spa experiences are set to change.
