Low deposit for solos-only green list

Solos Holidays has some great getaways to green list countries, with a special low deposit of £50 if you quote ‘101 Singles’. Choose winter sun in subtropical Madeira on a seven-night break departing on 20 or 27 December, priced from £1,399, including a twin/double room for sole use, half board and a gala dinner.

New singles-only Algarve holiday

Singles specialists Friendship Travel have added to their existing Portugal holidays with two week-long breaks exclusively for solo travellers at a second hotel in the Algarve. The hotel, Cidade de Olhao, is set in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, 15 minutes from Faro.


Priced from £995 including flights and sole occupancy of a double room with breakfast and dinner on four nights, and a boat trip into the natural park, the trips run from 5 or 12 June (with a 14-night option for the first departure date).


Solo-friendly walking in Portugal

Get out and explore a less-visited side of Portugal on a walking break from Ramblers Holidays: one of the most popular trips visits the Emerald Coast in northern Portugal, walking the coastline, the Minho villages, lush valleys and discovering local wine. Priced from £1,095 including flights for departures from 11 September, accommodation for sole use on a half-board basis.
