Wendy Wu Tours says

If you’re considering a trip to China – and why wouldn’t you be! – then you are in the best possible hands. We are the UK’s number one China specialist, established more than 20 years ago.

  • leading China specialists
  • solo only tours
  • small group adventure

No other company offers such a wide range of tours – including some for solo travellers only – and our National Escorts regularly win awards for their outstanding knowledge and friendliness.

Our maximum group size is 28; it’s just 18 people on our solo-only tours and they attract people of all ages from 18 to over 80 (most are aged 45 to 65). On our dedicated tours for solo travellers, you will always have a room of your own and most meals are included – with some free time to explore with new-found friends or on your own.

We always include international flights, accommodation, transportation in China, visa fees and all entrance fees, guiding and tours which are featured in the itinerary.

Charming China is a two-week tour for solos only that takes you from the history of imperial Beijing to the bright lights of modern Shanghai. You’ll experience the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, the Terracotta Warriors in Xian, Guilin & Yangshuo (including a Li River Cruise and Tai Chi) and a cruise on the Huangpu River in Shanghai.

Captivating China is also a two-week tour for solos only. In addition to time in Beijing and Shanghai, we’ll get you up close and personal with the pandas in Chengdu, the Terracotta Warriors in Xian and a three-night Yangtze River Cruise.

Our Classic Tours, with a mix of couples and solo travellers, include Wonders of China and A China Experience – the latter being a great ten-day introduction to China with a new simplified Visa process too (no visit to the Embassy required). We’ll take you to Xian, Beijing and Shanghai and include a ride on the Bullet Train.
