Luxury Cotswold rentals

Our verdict:

There are few places more perfect for a cosy weekend away than the Cotswolds - beautiful countryside, wonderful food, and character cottages that ooze rustic chic. Luxury Cotswold Rentals offer the added bonuses of a concierge - on hand seven days a week for everything from organising in-house chefs to restaurant reservations - and a Cotswold passport, offering discounts at local shops and eateries.

Luxury Cotswold Rentals says

If you are looking for somewhere truly special for a break in the Cotswolds, explore our handpicked portfolio of the best properties, from one up to 15 bedrooms. Our small-but-perfectly-formed collection of luxurious and characterful homes is a world away from the usual holiday rental.

We know each property’s owners personally and they are as passionate as we are about providing the very best home away from home with special touches, luxurious furnishings and fabulous gardens for guests to enjoy.

As true specialists, we know the region and its best suppliers, makers and producers inside out. Guests have access to our Little Black Book via our own Cotswold Concierge, who is on hand seven days a week before and during your break to assist with any special arrangements from chefs to florists, masseurs to restaurant reservations.

Our unique Cotswold Passport gives our guests exclusive offers with discounts off local spas, pubs, florists, butchers, chocolatiers and more. Guests can also access our unique App, a complete guide to the Cotswolds with over 1,600 points of interest.

If you’re looking for a romantic escape just for the two of you, take a look at the designer-chic but oh-so-comfortable Dryhill Cottage, with its wood burner, cedar-clad hot tub and glorious views over the Malvern Hills. Or there’s the slight larger Congrove Barns Bath, also with a hot tub and set into the side of a private valley only five miles from the centre of Bath.

New additions to the collection include Manor Farmhouse Conderton, a wonderful honey-hued home that has been newly renovated to the highest of standards. The house is a short walk from the village pub and has a selection of superb walks from its doorstep.

Dryhill is set in 14 idyllic acres (which once housed a Roman villa and vineyard). With five bedrooms – and the option to sleep another two to four in the adjacent cottages – there’s a spring-fed natural pool which guests can swim in and, indoors, the vibe is relaxed and comfortable with some eclectic touches, not least the Moroccan cellar bar and hot tub.

All our houses work perfectly for a special occasion. For example, there’s the classic Cotswold-style Pye Corner and Langley Park, arguably the ultimate “wow house”, a beautifully restored Georgian manor set in 85 acres of parkland, complete with a heated swimming pool, cellar bar and nightclub.

Recently added to our portfolio, and perfect for those looking to entertain on a larger scale, Thorpe Manor is a Grade II* listed manor house built in the mid 1600s. With 14 en suite bedrooms, it has been lovingly restored to meet contemporary expectations.
