Oasis Overland says

We’re passionate about overland adventure. We custom-build our own overland trucks and we only employ like-minded adventure-mad drivers, team leaders and support staff who are knowledgeable about our destinations and really care about every aspect of your experience.

  • Challenging adventures
  • Great value for money
  • Unique experiences

We offer overland adventures in Africa, South America, Morocco, Egypt and Jordan and Central Asia, with itineraries from five days to 40 or more weeks. Our travellers come from all walks of life and are mainly in their 20s, 30s and 40s, from gap year students to older professionals.

It’s a great way to see the world without breaking the bank too – you can enjoy an eight week trip for under £2,000. If you are travelling solo we can pair you up with a tent buddy of the same gender.

Overland Adventures are the core of our business, travelling in our own purpose-built vehicles. Group sizes are a maximum of 24 with two crew. Everyone mucks in with setting up on camp nights, cooking on some nights and so on, sharing stories over a camp fire and often forging friendships for life.

Kingdoms & Carnivals, from Quito to Rio or vice versa, is our flagship overland adventure in South America. Over 15 weeks, you’ll travel through Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil experiencing Iguazu Falls, Torres del Paine National Park, the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and three nights in the jungle.

Coast to Coast Nairobi to Cape Town is one of our top sellers in Africa, 56 days exploring Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa.

Discover “the ‘stans” on our 20-day Silk Road Highlights adventure from Bishkek to Ashgabat, following in the footsteps of Alexander the Great and Marco Polo along ancient trading routes through Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

Iran is emerging as a must-see destination for travellers. Our 44-day Ashgabat to Istanbul trip takes in Iran’s Imam Reza Mosque, Dash e Kavir Desert in search of the Asiatic Cheetah, Persepolis, Tehran and Esfahan between time in Ashgabat and Turkey.

Our shorter Regional Explorers use local transportation and private minibuses with accommodation in local hostels and small hotels.

Ultimate Adventures are “proper” expeditions with longer itineraries through more challenging terrain in some of the world’s most fascinating places.

We also offer family adventures.
