Luxury Turkey

Our verdict:

Away from the big brash resorts, Turkey’s Aegean Coast is a mesmerising mix of turquoise seas, pine-clad hills and cosy harbours lined with cafes. And although it remains good value, the region has over the past few years acquired some outstanding small stylish hotels and luxury villas.

Simpson Travel says

Natural beauty, warm hospitality, outstanding cuisine, a glorious coastline and fascinating culture all combine to make Turkey one of our favourite holiday destinations.

  • Luxury villas
  • Simpson Hotels
  • Stunning locations

We have hand-picked a collection of boutique hotels and luxury villas that fit the Simpson Travel mantra of comfort and style. They are all located in the less frenetic Turquoise Coast resorts, where the vibe combines tradition and tranquility. In addition to Kalkan – the fabulous star of the Turkish Riviera – we also offer holidays in Kas, the Bozburun PeninsulaAkyakaDalyan and Islamlar.

Here are just a few examples of our hotels and villas in Turkey to inspire you.

The family-run Kalkan Regency is a superb hotel which is big on hospitality and earns consistently stellar reviews. There’s an excellent restaurant and the view of Kalkan Bay is gorgeous, while Kalkan’s shops, markets, beach clubs and restaurants are all in easy walking distance. Children are welcome during the school holidays.

Korsan Suites is an innovative ‘aparthotel’ with mesmerising sea views. It’s made up of eight two- and three-bedroom suites, each with self-catering facilities and a Jacuzzi on the private terrace. This means you can enjoy the excellent service provided by manager Memduh and his team, as well as your own independence, making this a versatile choice that’s also just a 15-minute walk from the shops and restaurants of Kalkan.

Mavi Deniz is a fabulous villa with three bedrooms, a private pool and uninterrupted sea views. The renowned Mahal Beach Club and its restaurant are a short walk away and Kalkan a five minute drive.

Just as stylish, and arguably the best villa in Kalkan, the three-bedroom Korsan Tas Bahce has been built to feel it is virtually floating on the water. It’s a sensational house ideal for two couples or a family.

For larger groups, The Korsan Kuzey has five bedrooms and a private pool with spectacular views of the bay surrounding Kalkan. Top all that with a private beach platform and jetty with a kayak for the ultimate waterfront holiday.

For character and charm, The Pasha’s Retreat is located close to Dalyan and the superb Iztuzu beach. It’s a beautifully-restored 18th-century country house with three bedrooms, glorious gardens and a lovely pool. Head in to Dalyan for a trip on a river taxi, wildlife sightings and, further down the river, ancient Lycian rock tombs.

In 2018, all our holidays to Kalkan, Kas and Islamlar include a complimentary Turkish bath (hammam) at the Kalkan Regency Hotel spa, along with an all-day excursion on the hotel’s traditional gület boat, Poseidon, with a delicious lunch included.
