Luxury Turkey

Mark and David's verdict
Away from the big brash resorts, Turkey’s Turquoise Coast is a mesmerising mix of turquoise seas, pine-clad hills and cosy harbours lined with cafes. And although it remains good value, the region has over the past few years acquired some outstanding hotels and resorts.

Classic Collection Holidays says

Natural beauty, warm hospitality, outstanding cuisine, a glorious coastline and fascinating culture all combine to make Turkey one of our favourite holiday destinations.

  • Luxury hotels
  • Stunning locations
  • Private beaches

We offer a hand-picked collection of hotels and resorts on Turkey’s Mediterranean Coast and Aegean Coast and short breaks to Istanbul and Cappadocia but it’s the Turquoise Coast that is arguably the most beguiling. Otherwise known as the Lycian Coast, it stretches from Marmaris down to Kas with delightful resorts such as Gocek, Kalkan, Hisaronu and Fethiye en route and a wide range of stunning luxury hotels.

Hillside Beach Club near Fethiye, is a stand-out five star favourite amongst couples and families who love the choice of four private beaches, range of restaurants, kids activities, spa and crystal-clear water.

If you like to stay in amongst a bit more action, Ece Saray Marina and Resort is a charming boutique hotel ideally located on the waterfront in Fethiye with shops, bars and restaurants a short stroll away.

Kalkan is one of the most alluring resorts with its pretty cobbled streets and atmospheric restaurants. The Elixir is a family-run hotel with the warmest of welcomes and a particularly attractive pool, a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Kalkan.  In the heart of Kalkan, there’s the Samira Exclusive Hotel & Apartments with contemporary suites and apartments, some with with kitchenette facilities.

Set in a nature conservancy area and boasting five private beaches, D-Maris Bay has a contemporary and sophisticated feel, as does its sister property, D-Resort Gocek.

With just 34 rooms, Yacht Classic Hotel is a more low-key option, ideally located on the waterfront in Fethiye. Accommodation options include some villas as well as rooms and the private yacht is a popular choice to mark a special occasion.

We also offer a choice of gulet cruises along the Turquoise coast; it’s the perfect way to unwind, dip in and out of the warm waters and soak up the sunshine with some optional sight-seeing en route. We can arrange a private charter but most of our customers book one of the 7 or 8 cabins, enjoying the company of fellow passengers. It’s about as barefoot as you can get with zero formality.
