Luxury Seychelles

Mark and David's verdict
Some places have that elusive 'wow' factor - others don't. The Seychelles has it in spades. Silky beaches, tropical forests, the super deluxe hotels. Swim with turtles in the morning, spend an afternoon unwinding in the spa then dress for cocktails at sunset. Perfect? You bet.

For a truly unique tropical island destination, look no further than Seychelles. The granitic inner islands, along with their outer ring of coral atolls, are home to some of the world’s most stunning beaches. Couple this with spectacular fauna and flora, national parks, superb diving and deep-sea fishing, and you can understand why Seychelles is a special place.

Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa boasts every possible ingredient for the perfect Seychelles holiday. There’s a PADI Dive Centre, Jungle Fun kids’ club, top notch spa and six diverse restaurants to choose from. Some of the villas have a private plunge pool.

Romantic Raffles Seychelles is arguably the finest and most luxurious resort, located in an idyllic beachfront and hillside location on the north-eastern coast of Praslin. We love that each one- and two-bedroom villa has its own private plunge pool and the Raffles spa is exceptional. There’s a choice of three restaurants plus the option for in-villa dining.

The deluxe Constance Ephelia is also on Mahé with two glorious beaches and fabulous rooms, suites and villas dotted around the glorious landscaped gardens, many of them overlooking the Port Launay National Marine Park. We love the new zip wire and climbing wall.

Constance Lemuria is on Praslin, the Seychelles’ second largest island. No less than three spectacular beaches, an 18-hole golf course, Shiseido Spa, tennis courts, water sports, a Turtle Club for kids and a choice of there restaurants await. Stay between October and February for the chance to see Hawksbill turtles nesting and hatching on the beaches.

For sheer romantic luxury, Denis Private Island is the epitome of a Seychelles escape – a 357 acre island with just 25 cottages, each offering complete privacy.
