Mark and David's verdict
Jordan is a safe, friendly and cultured country blessed with a fabulous array of natural and man-made treasures including the Dead Sea, the vast deserts of Wadi Rum - made famous by Lawrence of Arabia - and the ancient rock-carved city of Petra. Take a private journey or group tour, combining luxury hotels with unique wilderness experiences.

Cox & Kings says

Whilst some may argue that the tombs and temples of Petra are the finest jewels in Jordan’s crown, the sheer breadth of this ancient Kingdom’s heritage and landscapes is breathtaking. Biblical sites, Roman cities, Crusader castles, the Dead Sea and Wadi Rum desert await, and all within five hours’ flying time from the UK.
