Essential Detail says
We represent a collection of eight exquisite small hotels and resorts in the Caribbean, each of which we regard as a truly hidden gem of the West Indies, perfect for a romantic honeymoon.
Choose from Barbados, Jamaica, St Lucia, Antigua and the islands of St Vincent and Bequia in The Grenadines – or perhaps a combination of two islands for a contrasting experience.
Each hotel is privately owned, individual in style and impeccably run with a genuine passion amongst all the management and staff to please their guests with attentive yet unobtrusive service.
The locations vary from the water’s edge to a tropical hillside with views which will take your breath away. Some offer exceptional honeymoon suites, complete with a private pool, and some of them offer all-inclusive rates – without a buffet in sight!
Each property is something of a foodie heaven with an intimate restaurant which combines fresh local produce with creative presentation for delicious results. Hidden gems include the Bequia Beach Hotel on tiny Bequia, the charming Little Good Harbour on Barbados and Young Island in the Grenadines.
Our London-based team knows each property inside out – we specialise in nothing but these ten Caribbean hotels and we know each of them, their owners and managers personally. We will have a chat with you to discuss what you’re looking for so we can advise you on what might best suit you – and what wouldn’t. We take pride in offering honest and sound advice.
We also offer honeymoon couples extra added value and benefits such as a welcome gift and we are always careful to ensure that every special request is actioned, whether it’s a private meal on the beach or a private yacht charter.
We can either make your hotel reservation for you or advise on tour operators who offer packages including flights and transfers.
