Luxury Crete

Amanda's verdict
Great news for Greek island lovers – the sleek and shiny Daios Cove resort on Crete now has an outstanding Explorers kids' club, putting it among the most desirable luxury family boltholes in the Med. We’re weak at the knees just contemplating that infinity pool, while kids won’t waste time getting stuck into the organised activities.

Nestled into the hillside of a private bay, contemporary Daios Cove is one of our favourite luxury family-friendly resorts in the Mediterranean and it features the renowned Explorers kids’ club.

  • kids club
  • luxury resort
  • qualified nannies

When guests are not relaxing in their private villa or suite, there is a wealth of facilities including an outdoor infinity pool, children’s pool, two tennis courts, a fitness centre, spa and four restaurants, as well as a private sandy cove with a watersports and dive centre.

Located at the heart of the resort, a glass elevator ride away from the beach, is the Explorers kids club. A dedicated indoor and outdoor space, full of toys and games for every age. It’s staffed by qualified Scott Dunn nannies and rangers who organise fun and exciting activities for all ages, from archery and trips to a local olive farm for the older children, and treasure hunts and games on the beach for our younger guests.

Each day has a different programme of creative and sporting activities, guaranteeing your children have a fun-packed holiday.

Available to children aged four months to 11 years, Scott Dunn Explorers kids club places are available from £150 per week for half days and £300 per week for full days.
