Cornwall cottages

Amanda's verdict
My family love Cornwall, we’ve been holidaying in the south west regularly since both boys were young. Happy memories of hiking along coast paths in the sunshine with babies in slings, watching first surf lessons at Watergate Bay over a hot chocolate, eating salty fish and chips on the harbour at St Ives and waking up close to the sea.

Classic Cottages says

Cornwall is the perfect family holiday destination, whether it’s for larger groups of extended family or just a small number.

  • characterful cottages
  • good value
  • waterfront locations

With mile upon mile of golden beaches for kayakers, surfers, swimmers and sandcastle creators, every water sports enthusiast will be in heaven. Take everyone for a coastal ramble, discover secret coves, search for hidden treasure – the whole family will love all that Cornwall has to offer.

Perhaps the youngsters would like to see a castle – St Michael’s Mount is like a fairy tale, perched out to sea in Mounts Bay. When the tide is in, there’s a boat to take you there and back to add to the sense of adventure.

Choose a beach with a café – with so many to choose from, you will be spoilt for choice. After a dip in the sea, warm up with a steaming hot chocolate, tuck in to some fish and chips or devour a cream tea. Perfect!
