5-star kids clubs

Mark's verdict:

Scott Dunn have taken children’s clubs to new and exciting heights with their inspiring range of Explorers Clubs, now available at more than 10 stunning resorts in the Med, Indian Ocean and French Alps. A lot of thought has been put into the childcare, healthy eating and superb facilities at each one. And we love the choice of activities – from pottery making classes to bike rides.

Scott Dunn says

We want children to have fun on holiday, to be inspired, to be safe and to enjoy an experience to remember.

  • educational
  • luxury hotels
  • qualified nannies

That’s why we have created our own Explorers children’s clubs in a selection of luxury resorts in the Med, the Alps and the Indian Ocean.

In the Med we have Pine Cliffs in the Algarve, Daios Cove in Crete, Anassa and Almyra in Cyprus, Sun Gardens in Croatia plus Costa Navarino and Eagles Palace in Greece.

For children aged four months to 13 years, the clubs are open six days a week from 10am to 6pm. The children are divided into four age groups – Globetrotters (four months to 2 years), Adventurers (three and four year olds), Voyagers (five to seven years) and Pioneers (eight to 11 years).

More recently, we have introduced Crew, a flexible 18-hour programme split over six days specifically designed for more independent older children (aged 11+) and teens who want time away from Mum and Dad whilst having fun with friends their own age. Crew is available at Costa Navarino and Sun Gardens. Alternatively, for those wanting a taste of watersports, we have an Aqua Explorers programme at Eagles Palace for children aged five to 13 years.

Each day is designed to be unique, full of new activities, wonder and creativity. Elements of the local area’s culture and traditions are introduced in a fun and interactive way for children to learn and discover.

Your children will not only be entertained and engaged, but they will also make new friends too as they become inventors, artists, adventurers, sporting heroes and chefs. Chances are they will be begging you to go back time and time again.

Beyond Europe, we run Explorers kids clubs at two very special five star barefoot luxury resorts in Mauritius and the Maldives.

Our Explorers kids club at Shanti Maurice in Mauritius is set in 2,000sq m of grounds within the resort; a fully trained local team provides an enriching, age appropriate (and fun!) programme of activities, aiming to make the most of the destination and really showcase the wonderful environment that Mauritius provides.

Niyama Private Islands, on the Dhaalu Atoll in the Maldives, offers spacious beach and overwater accommodation options and the Explorers kids club looks after children from 12 months to 12 years.

Head to the Alps where we have Explorers kids clubs in Courchevel 1650 & 1850 and in Val d’Isere for times when you fancy skiing without the kids rather than en famille, knowing they are in safe hands. Choose from morning, afternoon or full day sessions.

All of our Scott Dunn Explorers kids clubs house plenty of toys and games for all ages, an outdoor play area and a sleep room for younger guests. We also provide lunch, high tea, snacks and refreshments throughout the day.
