Mark and David's verdict
You might think you know the Caribbean, but Curaçao in the Dutch Antilles is an exciting and colourful twist offering Latin, Creole and African cultural influences. With pure white sandy beaches, it's known worldwide for its coral reefs and spectacular marine life, whether you're diving, snorkelling or just taking a boat trip. The place to stay for couples is the latest all-inclusive resort from Sandals.

Sandals Royal Curaçao says

The Caribbean is our heartland – it’s where, since 1981, we continue to perfect the art of all-inclusive holidays for couples (something which we pioneered). Our resorts in Jamaica, Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, the Bahamas and St Lucia now have a new sister – Sandals Royal Curaçao.

  • Rich culture
  • Dive paradise
  • Superb beaches

Curaçao, you ask? This picturesque island lies at the heart of the southern Caribbean, nestled in an island trio with Aruba and Bonaire in the Leeward Antilles. You’ll pick up Dutch, Creole and Latin influences and, above all, be blown away by the crystal clear water and lovely beaches. With 65 dive sites and a pristine marine eco-system, it’s already a legendary destination amongst scuba divers.

Our new Luxury Included® resort, which opened in spring 2022, sits on 3,000 acres fringed by a west-facing white sandy beach and colourful reefs.

The choice of accommodation ranges from spacious ocean-view and beachfront rooms to even more luxurious swim-up pool rooms, Butler Suites and Seaside Bungalows with private pool.  Whichever you choose, you will find a four-poster bed, luxury amenities and generous balcony or terrace.

Not only do we include dining at a choice of eight restaurants – with no supplements – but we have also introduced three food trucks serving Curaçao, Spanish and Asian fusion dishes in a more casual beachside setting. Cuisines in our restaurants include Butch’s Chop House, seafood, Mediterranean, Japanese, South American and Italian, and our bars serve only top line spirits, cocktails and Robert Mondavi wines. Guests staying in the Butler Suites will also enjoy a $250 dine-around credit for a selection of restaurants elsewhere in Curaçao.

There’s a huge range of land sports and water sports, including scuba-diving, included in the price; you can keep up your exercise regime in one of the state-of-the-art fitness centres too. Guests can explore the estate on complimentary Dutch bikes or laze on the beach or by the unique two-level infinity pool; some of our suites even include the opportunity to explore the island in one of our Mini-Cooper convertibles.

We offer a fantastic range of pampering treatments at our Red Lane® Spa (extra cost).

We have earned a reputation for hosting spectacular weddings from intimate ceremonies just for the two of you, to bigger gatherings of family and friends. We can host your wedding in a variety of settings at Sandals Royal Curacao too. And we know just how to make honeymoons extra special with romantic treats and extra touches.
