Bargain Mexico

Our verdict:

Both the Caribbean and Pacific coasts of Mexico have top-class resorts set on superb beaches with prices significantly lower than in rival holiday destinations. Besides affordable luxury, visitors can tap into a rich seam of culture, from remarkable Mayan archaeological sites and colourful Indian markets to Spanish colonial towns.

Teletext Holidays says

Mexico is one of our favourite tropical beach destinations but it’s not just about the stunning beaches. Mexico is also home to a vibrant and colourful culture, riveting history and ancient treasures.

  • Culture and cuisine
  • Luxury beach hotels
  • Outstanding value

We are all about offering the most competitive prices, often with exclusive special offers, as well as great service and a flexible range of flight options. We think that Mexico offers the best value for money when it comes to a long-haul holiday with a week’s all-inclusive stay in a four star hotel from under £800 per person, for example.

We offer a wide selection of beach holidays in three, four and five star resorts in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel and Tulum. Our selection includes all resort styles from family-friendly to adult-only, simple barefoot to five star luxury.

The best known resort of Cancun boasts sparkling white sands dotted with luxury resorts and an amazing array of nightlife, restaurants, water parks and activities. It’s a great choice if you want to enjoy a lively resort atmosphere.

For a more laid back vibe, we recommend a stay in Playa del Carmen, with not only stunning beaches but also close proximity to breathtaking Mayan pyramids, fantastic snorkelling, wildlife tours and eco-experiences.

Cozumel and Tulum both offer a taste of Mexico at a much slower pace and are a popular choice amongst honeymooners, for example.

We offer a wide choice of all-inclusive hotels in all the resorts, ideal if you want to stick to your budget. You can still head out to explore the local nightlife and excursions – and you’ll find the prices in local bars and restaurants very reasonable – but it’s good to be able to enjoy your hotel’s bars, restaurants, water sports and entertainment with no bill at the end of your stay.
