New England fly drive

Wexas says

We think we have crafted the perfect New England fly-drive holiday – Discover New England.

Your two-week adventure starts with two nights in Boston, a mix of colonial past and commercial present. Shop on Newbury Street, tuck into an authentic Italian meal in the North End or browse the red-bricked buildings of Beacon Hill.

On day three, pick up your hire car and drive to Kennebunkport, visiting infamous Salem en route. You can also explore the Mount Washington cog railway, the Conway Scenic Railway, outlet shopping bargains and the scenic Lakes Region.

The spectacular Acadia National Park is next, with two nights in Bar Harbor.

Spectacular scenery awaits the next day in the White Mountain National Forest before heading on to Stowe and the Green Mountains of Vermont.

Driving through The Berkshires, you can visit Woodstock, still a quintessentially New England village with traditional shops and covered bridges. Tour Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory – fun for all ages.

Take in Old Sturbridge Village, a living 19th-century museum en route to yachtie heaven – Newport, Rhode Island, your base for a night.

Your final two nights are in Cape Cod – with its gorgeous sandy beaches. Take in a whale watching cruise, visit historic Chatham and artistic Provincetown or take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket.

Boston Airport is less than two hours’ drive away, so you can relax before your evening flight home.

It’s luxury, characterful hotel accommodation all the way and we also provide helpful route suggestions and sight-seeing tips. Alternative hotels can be arranged to suit your budget and taste – our itineraries are flexible and our USA specialists will share their knowledge to ensure you enjoy the best possible holiday.
