Insider Journeys says
In recent years, more than 30% of our customers have travelled solo, joining one of our expertly-crafted small group adventures throughout Southeast Asia.
Vietnam Insight is one of our most popular choices and it’s not surprising when you consider what’s included in this 14-night holiday. You’ll feel as if you’ve really got under the skin of Vietnam, one of world’s most intoxicating countries.
After some time in Hanoi and a stay in the remote northern villages of Sapa, you’ll set sail on a private charter, cruising around picturesque Halong Bay. Later in the trip, there’s a speed-boat cruise through the more remote regions of the Mekong Delta too.
Back on land, highlights include a unique walking tour of a little-visited Hoi An market with the students of Streets International training restaurant. This NGO trains local disadvantaged children in hospitality, essential for a well-paid career in Vietnam. There’s an option for you to take part in a cookery class.
A trip to Vietnam wouldn’t be complete without some time soaking up the unique atmosphere of Saigon. A visit to the Cu Chi tunnels is also included.
Throughout, you will stay in three-star and four-star hotels with some meals included in the price. There’s no single supplement if you are willing to share with another person of the same sex or you can opt for a guaranteed single room for a supplement.
Our maximum group size is 16 and there’s a Western tour leader (for groups of seven or more) and expert local guides on all trips. We always build in some free time so you can explore independently if you wish.
All our small group tours are independently reviewed by Reevoo. Each group usually has a mix of UK, Canadian, American, Australian and Kiwi participants.
