Over the past few months we have been building a unique collection of hotel recommendations from top travel writers on Twitter. Each contributor reveals a personal favourite place where they would pay to stay. The price of a double room must be no more than £150 ($250).
Today’s tip comes from Abigail Flanagan, a former producer and director on BBC Watchdog who now writes travel for The Guardian and Mumsnet.
Abigail recommends: “Paperbark Bush Retreat, carbon-neutral escapism, leopard conservation, fab grub and bloody big bugs in South Africa’s Leutla Valley.” Although the price for a double rooms is just over our limit at £160 a night, that does include all meals and non-alcoholic drinks.
