Siblu, which operates 14 family holiday parcs throughout France, is introducing new Fun with French language classes for 12- to 16-year-olds at two of their parcs this year.

Costing £10 pp, the 90-minute classes are run by a professional French teacher with a maximum of 12 children per class. The emphasis is on conversation to help build up the children’s confidence when speaking French, with themes including holidays, shopping, restaurants, TV and films and celebrity life.

Kate Locke from Siblu told 101 Holidays: “Lots of children who stay at our parcs are learning French in school, but they don’t always have the confidence to use the language during their holiday. Our classes aim to get the children talking in French during their holiday, something which will also benefit them when they head back to school. If they prove popular, we’ll offer further classes in the summer.”

Fun with French classes are initially available during the Whitsun half-term week (departing May 29) at Siblu’s Bonne Anse Plage parc in Charente Maritime (7 nights in a two-bedroom holiday home from £477 per family) and Le Bois Masson in the Vendée (from £478 per family sharing a two-bedroom mobile home). Prices include ferry crossings for one car and up to 5 people from Dover to Calais.
