There is no better way to explore Turkey’s spectacular southeastern coastline than from the deck of a traditional gulet.
Gulet holidays, Exclusive Escapes style, means a choice of two particularly spacious boats, each with ample deck space and larger-than-usual en suite cabins with air-conditioning.
Seyhan Hannah has six en suite cabins and sleeps up to 14 adults and two children. The smaller Alenya has four en suite cabins – ideal for two families travelling together or a group of friends.
Both boats have hardwood decks and wood-paneled cabins, plus an experienced captain and crew who will do their utmost to ensure their guests are happy.
All meals are included and are prepared on board using fresh local produce picked up each day , not least freshly-caught fish. You can dine al fresco on the shaded aft-deck, and gaze up at the stars in the night sky.
As you meander along the coast, there are numerous opportunities to dive into the sea for a refreshing swim, or snorkel in deserted bays. Each boat carries sea kayaks and windsurfers, snorkelling and fishing gear and (for a small extra fee) a tender for waterskiing. You can also go ashore from time to time if you wish.
Most of our clients book the entire boat on a private charter; children are welcome. Individual cabins are available on limited dates but not for under-14s.
