The medieval French town of Fréjus, located half way between Cannes and St Tropez (a ten-minute drive from the St Raphael TGV station), is a perfect choice for families wanting to combine beach and culture.
Fréjus has a rich artistic and architectural heritage, still clearly visible with its 5th century cathedral, Roman amphitheatre and charming streets. There is also a 2km sandy beach just outside the town itself.
