You’d expect the experts in walking holidays to come up with a great range of destinations to step out with the kids (and you’ll find everything here from Crete to the Peak District). If your family likes the idea of an active holiday with plenty of things to do and places to see, the opportunity to relax together as well as meet other like-minded families, one of our family adventures will fit the bill perfectly.
Aimed at families with children aged 6 to 16 years, we offer a range of adventure holidays during the school holidays and half-term. Destinations include England, Austria, France, Italy, mainland Greece, Crete and Morocco.
Groups are small in size, with 12 – 16 people, and a skilled, experienced leader who is on hand to help you all make the most of your holiday.
As you would expect from a company with long-established experience in organising walking holidays, most of our adventures include the option to spend time walking – but this is no route march! Mornings might be spent strolling alongside a lake, clambering over ancient ruins or hiking along spectacular mountain trails, all in the company of a knowledgeable leader.
Afternoons are generally spent relaxing or taking part in a host of activities (most of which are included in the price). Go orienteering in the Lake District, canoeing in France, make your own pizzas in the Bay of Naples, take a boat trip along the Corinth Canal or camel riding in Morocco.
Comfortable accommodation in hand-picked hotels (many of them with a pool), breakfast and dinner each day and all equipment required for the activities outlined in each itinerary are included in the price.
