Cayman Islands

Will and Sally's verdict

If you thought the Cayman Islands were just for diving enthusiasts, think again. This is family-friendly Caribbean at its most comfortable and exciting! We can’t think of another destination that offers such a fantastic range of beach-based adventures – from submarine rides to snorkelling with stingrays. Turquoise Holidays has some great family accommodation too.

Turquoise Holidays says

Visit pirate caves, go kite-surfing, kayak through mangroves, swim with dolphins, hike through an iguana reserve, visit a butterfly farm and dive to the depths in a submarine.

This may not sound like your typical Caribbean holiday – and it isn’t. It’s the Cayman Islands, one of the region’s most sophisticated and family-friendly destinations and it’s topped off by the amazing Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman.

You and your children can learn to dive with some of the best instructors around, snorkel amongst parrot fish and stingrays or even walk on water with WowBalls®.

There are superb restaurants on Grand Cayman, from toes-in-the-sand casual to fine dining, and a wide selection of supermarkets and specialty food stores that make self-catering a great option.

Top of the tree are the sublime beach suites at Caribbean Club. Each has three bedrooms, a massive kitchen and sun deck right on Seven Mile Beach. In keeping with Cayman’s five star standards, there’s a concierge, room service and babysitting on tap plus a restaurant and infinity pool.

Further west, in West Bay village, are the two-bedroom Cotton Tree cottages. They’re contemporary, stylish and supremely comfortable with a shared pool and great location on the tranquil Barker’s Beach.

We also offer a selection of private villas throughout Grand Cayman, most of them on the waterfront and boasting a pool.
