The Adventure Company says

If you are finding it increasingly hard to find a holiday which pleases all the family as your children get older we have the solution.

Our dedicated teen adventures allow teens to travel with their peers so there are no younger kids to cramp their style. These trips also offer activities which families with older children can really sink their teeth into. As older children tend to be increasingly independent, this is a great opportunity for parents and teenagers to come together and enjoy many exciting experiences.

Our adventurous eight-day Active Cappadoccia trip takes in the surreal troglodyte caves and fairy chimneys of this beautiful region of Turkey. Go mountain biking, horse riding and visit the incredible underground city of Derinkuyu. You will also spend three days trekking into the Taurus Mountains, camping in beautiful, rugged and remote countryside.

For a real wow factor, it doesn’t get much better than trekking along the Inca Trail to the Lost City of Machu Picchu on our Teens on the Trail trip. You will also have the chance to go biking and rafting through the Sacred Valley and stay with a local family.

And if only a massive challenge will do, you could always trek up the Everest Valley to see the mighty peak itself from Thyangboche Monastery.

If wildlife is your thing then head to Tanzania and Zanzibar on the Safari and Beach holiday or explore the Okavango Delta in a dug out canoes and see Zambia’s Victoria Falls.
