Mark Warner, the activity holiday specialist, is hosting a Specialist Tennis Week on the Greek island of Kos with coaching from two British Davis Cup players, Danny Sapsford and James Auckland.

The week begins on May 12 at Lakitira Beach Resort, which has 11 courts and a tennis coaching programme endorsed by the Lawn Tennis Association.

The trip includes 6 hours coaching a day, a 45-minute private lesson, tennis clinics, doubles and match play workshops, a pro-amateur tournament playing with a pro and against a pro, speed serve competitions and the use of the latest tennis equipment.

Time off the court can be spent sunbathing by the pool or enjoying one of the many watersports on offer, including windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and scuba diving. Much of the evening entertainment is pre-arranged, with a tennis quiz night.

The 7-night break costs from £475pp – with £130 supplement for the tennis week - and includes flights, transfers, half board 4-star accommodation, sailing and windsurfing tuition and childcare for the over 2’s. Flights depart 12th May, 2010.

For anyone who misses out this time, there is another Specialist Tennis Week at San Agostino Beach Resort on the island, scheduled for 25 September, 2010.
